Barley

Barley image

Crop Type: Cereals

Also known as:  barley ,jau ,Hordeum vulgare

Planting Material:

Dosage Per Acre: 100 ml

Dosage Per Quantity: 2 ml - 3 ml per kg

Estimated Per Acre Quantity: 40 kg

For barley whole grains, apply Seed Primer using a drum/barrel mixing method for optimal coverage. Mix 2-3 ml of Seed Primer per kg of barley seeds in a clean rotating drum or container for 5-7 minutes to ensure uniform coating. For the recommended sowing rate of 40 kg/acre, use 80-120 ml of Seed Primer total. The standard pink colorant is ideal for barley seeds as it provides excellent visual differentiation from untreated seeds and helps monitor application uniformity. For best results, treat seeds 24-48 hours before sowing and ensure seeds are free from dust or debris before treatment. The treated seeds should be sown at a depth of 4-5 cm in well-prepared soil.

Buckwheat

Crop Type: Cereals

Also known as:  buckwheat ,kuttu ,Fagopyrum esculentum

Planting Material:

Dosage Per Acre: 100 ml

Dosage Per Quantity: 2 ml per kg

Estimated Per Acre Quantity: 20 kg

For Buckwheat Whole Seeds, begin by evenly spreading out the 20 Kg of seeds on a clean, level surface. Use a handheld or mechanical sprayer to administer Seed Primer at the recommended dosage of 2 ml per Kg, which totals 40 ml for a single acre. After spraying, thoroughly mix the seeds by hand or with a seed mixer to ensure a uniform coating. The standard pink color remains suitable as it offers a clear visual cue against the natural hue of buckwheat seeds, allowing for quick and accurate verification of proper treatment.

Crop Type: Cereals

Also known as:  makai ,makka ,corn ,bhutta

Planting Material:

Dosage Per Acre: 40 ml

Dosage Per Quantity: 5 ml per kg

For Maize Hybrid Seeds, start by placing the 8 kg of seeds in a shallow tray to ensure even exposure. Use a fine mist sprayer or a dip method to evenly distribute approximately 40 ml of Seed Primer (5 ml per Kg) across the seeds. After application, gently mix the seeds to avoid clumping and ensure that each seed is adequately coated. The standard pink color remains ideal, as it provides a strong contrast against the natural light yellow hue of maize seeds, thereby facilitating easy visual confirmation of proper treatment during field operations.

Crop Type: Fiber Crops

Also known as:  bamboo ,bans ,bamboo fiber

Planting Material:

Dosage Per Acre: 50 ml

Dosage Per Quantity: 4 ml per clump

Estimated Per Acre Quantity: 200 Clumps

For Bamboo Whole Clumps, a practical and farmer-friendly method is to use a dipping technique. Farmers should prepare a diluted solution by mixing one 20 ml sachet of Seed Primer in about 10 liters of clean water to ensure even distribution of the active ingredients. Each bamboo clump should then be dipped thoroughly—focusing on the root zone and basal sections—for approximately 30–45 seconds. This ensures a uniform coating of the bio-stimulant formulation without over-application. The standard pink coloration is maintained during the process, providing a clear visual cue that each clump has been treated effectively, even though the dipped solution may appear slightly more diluted compared to a dry seed coating.

Apricot

Apricot image

Crop Type: Fruits

Also known as:  apricot ,Prunus armeniaca ,khubani

Planting Material:

Dosage Per Acre: 800 ml

Dosage Per Quantity: 4 ml per kg

Estimated Per Acre Quantity: 200 kg

For apricot seeds, I recommend a wet seed treatment method using a slurry coating technique. Mix 4 ml of Seed Primer per kg of apricot seeds (total 800 ml for 200 kg seeds) with just enough water (approximately 2-2.5 liters) to create a coating consistency. The seeds should be treated in batches of 20-25 kg in a rotating drum or similar container for 5-7 minutes to ensure even coverage. For apricot seeds, I recommend modifying the standard pink colorant to a bright orange colorant, as this provides better contrast against the brown seed coat and soil, making it easier for farmers to verify treatment coverage and identify treated seeds during stratification and sowing processes. After treatment, spread seeds on a clean tarp in shade for 60-75 minutes to dry before cold stratification or immediate sowing.

Azolla

Azolla image

Crop Type: Aquatic Crops

Also known as:  azolla ,water fern ,mosquito fern

Planting Material:

Dosage Per Acre: 500 ml

Dosage Per Quantity: 5 ml per kg

Estimated Per Acre Quantity: 100 kg

For Fresh Azolla Biomass in aquatic crop production, we recommend a dipping or low-pressure spraying method to ensure even coverage of the biomass. Begin with a standard dosage of 5 ml of Seed Primer per kg of biomass, so for the 100 kg required per acre, mix 500 ml of the product uniformly. In cases with increased pest pressure or where enhanced protection is desired, the dosage may be increased incrementally (up to a maximum of 20 ml per kg) while ensuring the economic feasibility remains intact. The standard pink color of the formulation offers excellent visual differentiation against the typically dark green Azolla, aiding in quality control during application without necessitating any change in color.

Cherry

Kiwi

Kiwi image

Crop Type: Fruits

Also known as:  kiwi ,Actinidia deliciosa ,kiwi fruit

Planting Material:

Dosage Per Acre: 300 ml

Dosage Per Quantity: 2 ml per seedling

Estimated Per Acre Quantity: 1500 seedlings

For Kiwi seedlings (1500 per acre), we recommend a dipping method to ensure each plant receives thorough and uniform treatment. Farmers should prepare a diluted mixture using Seed Primer, applying approximately 2 ml per seedling weight as a standard practice; however, where pest or disease pressure is high, the dosage can be increased up to 20 ml per Kg while maintaining cost-effectiveness. The mixture should be prepared in a treatment vessel, and seedlings should be dipped briefly to achieve optimal coverage without prolonged exposure. The standard pink color of the formulation is ideal in this case, as it contrasts well with the natural colors of the seedlings and allows for easy verification of even application during field operations.
