India–Africa Seed Summit 2026 & Seedsmen Association Meeting

Seed Primer joined the 2nd India–Africa Seed Summit in Hyderabad — India's seed capital, home to more than 400 seed companies — alongside a meeting of the Seedsmen Association, Hyderabad. Organised by ICFA with the African Seed Trade Association (AFSTA) as Africa partner, NSAI and FSII as supporting partners, and ICRISAT as knowledge partner, the summit brought together seed companies, policymakers, and researchers from India and more than ten African countries, including Kenya, Zambia, Ethiopia, Nigeria, and South Africa. Sessions covered climate-resilient varieties, AI in plant breeding, seed financing, and regulatory harmonisation, along with a CEOs' Conclave and B2B trading tables. Our team met seed companies and delegates from India and across Africa to introduce Seed Primer — the ICAR-approved, 100% micro-plastic-free film-forming bio-polymer seed coating.
